This area is developed in Valayaputhur village, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District with a number of roads connecting the area with the main Chennai Chengalpattu express highway road.

With the Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary situated in the close proximity, construction of buildings is prohibited in the nearby areas. Multi-storey houses are also prohibited.
